On Seeking A Meaning For Life

People say that what we’re all seeking is a meaning for life… I think that what we’re really seeking is an experience of being alive, so that our life experiences on the purely physical plane will have resonance within our innermost being and reality, so that we can actually feel the rapture of being alive.

This is amazingly true. And before I used to go to great lengths to discover what is that I am supposed to do… until I discovered the beauty of being aware or being in the moment. The day was ordinary. I was having a break and in the middle of the hustle and bustle of work I spotted a plant set against a wall and facing a boring pavement. I realized the plant’s resiliency to stand where it was and become what it is — a plant, full of life.
